Heavyweight 22ft Mecate Reins
Natural Rider Mecate Reins are handmade and 22 feet/6.7m long and made from our bespoke Equi-Rope, making them versatile for use as reins and a lead rope combined. They are often used with bosals or slobber straps which can be purchased separately from our webshop.
 
Our Mecate Reins are crafted with our thicker 14mm Equi-rope and all are both soft and durable. The leather poppers on both ends provide a finishing touch. For those who prefer a lighter weight rope, we also offer the Mecate Reins in mediumweight 10mm wide rope or with a decorative tassel.

Our rope tack is not rushed. Each piece is handmade to order and typically takes between one and three weeks to complete, depending on our current workload.
 
All of our horsemanship items are custom made to order and personalised to your specifications. For this reason, refunds and exchanges are not available on these items.
