Traditional bosals can be stiff and unforgiving on a horse’s sensitive nose. This Comfort Plus model was developed to offer a softer, more thoughtful alternative, made from premium quality Equi Rope with the horse’s comfort front of mind.
 
Our soft bitless bosals provide a clear and effective way to ride bitless and can be used with a wide range of setups, including traditional headstalls, split reins, slobber straps, or mecate reins. Please see our other listings for compatible options.
 
This design allows many standard bitted bridles to be converted to bitless. The bridle straps are wrapped between the toggles, with reins attached to the rear ring or paired with a mecate rein for a classic western finish.
 
The rear rein connector ring offers clear, consistent communication and works well for both young horses in training and older horses who benefit from a softer feel.
