These are an ideal size for small ponies with a high risk of laminitis as they allow smaller horses to keep safer forages such as hay or straw flowing through their digestive system without permitting them to eat too much to trigger a relaspse.

For bigger horses, they are an ideal snack-sized slow feeder net that can take 1 slice of hay for when travelling in the float, in the stable or yard.

Size is 55cm x 65cm =1 slice of hay

Comes with a free carabiner and soft contrasting rope drawstring for easy filling

Hole Sizing Guide:

4cm Holes: This is the standard hole size that we recommend for use with most horses

3cm Holes: Are Suitable for horses who are used to using the 4cm hole size slow feed hay nets, for those needing stricter weight management, or for those prone to metabolic issues such as laminitis, EMS, Cushings, PSSM, etc.

2cm Holes: Extra small-these are only suitable for smaller horses such as miniatures and small ponies or for horses who have successfully mastered using the 3cm slow feeders-These smaller sized holes are not recommended for most horses, who can get frustrated by the tinier openings.

Please do not clip the free carabiner onto the material of the haynet as it can damage it. The carabiner should only be used for clipping to the drawstring. Thanks.
